FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

You are welcome to text or call Capt. Chris at 850-227-8056 if you cannot find an answer to your questions.

This may vary some given certain weather conditions or circumstances out of Capt. Chris's control, but we typically cast off from the Port St. Joe city boat ramp that is located behind Hungry Howie's Pizza, at the intersection of Hwy 71 and Hwy 98. This location is called Frank Pate Park. However, we may fish in East Bay near Panama City, Crooked Island Sound near Mexico Beach, Indian Pass on the south end of Cape San Blas, or even Apalachicola. Your captain will inform you of where we will be fishing and provide and exact location.

We operate on EASTERN time zone only. This can be confusing around here... Please be mindful of your time and change your cell phone settings to be only on eastern time.

This can vary some depending on the time of year you are fishing. Generally you need to bring drinks in a small cooler, and some snacks if you want to unless you are fishing for 8 hours, then we will arrange lunch plans. Most importantly, bring good sunglasses! All rods/reels, tackle, bait, local knowledge, and everything you need to catch fish is included!

Nope! When you board any fishing charter in the state of Florida, you licenses are covered.

Yes! Capt. Chris takes fish preparation very seriously, and will make sure your fish are filleted properly. He also bags your fillets separately per species, so you know what you are preparing to cook and eat.

Yes, if you book directly thru Capt. Chris, a deposit via Venmo is required to hold your spot. Any no-call/no-shows the day of your charter will forfeit their deposit.

If the weather is dangerous or not fishable, Capt. Chris will do his best to move your charter to the next available day/time slot. Capt. Chris takes safety very seriously. No fish is worth risking anyone's safety! Please refer to his judgment for weather safety.

Yes! We accept all major credit and debit cards, but there is a 2.7% charge. We also accept Venmo, as well as personal checks. But cash is preffered!
